Mafia Clash's multiplier comes into play via the Shootout feature, accompanied by free spins and two bonus buys.

Shootout

Landing 2 or more rival gang wilds triggers the Shootout feature. The three types of wilds are Thugs, Triad, and Wise guys. When the Shootout activates, the wilds reveal a multiplier, and the bullets start flying. The wilds which survive apply their multipliers to a Global multiplier, which then gets used on any wins from the spin. Additive multiplier values can be x2 to x100, while the multiplicative multiplier values are x2 to x10.

Hideout Free Spins

With Mafia Clash, Bullshark Games has made a decent enough, though not exactly remarkable slots. Mafia Clash is a slot with some interesting ideas, but still, something felt just a little lacking. Like maybe an extra feature or a twist to the Shootout feature in free spins rather than just theoretically being able to trigger it more often. To be honest, and not trying to be mean, it wouldn't take much to make the Shootout feature feel more frequent since it didn't trigger loads in the base game.

Mafia Clash is a slot where the more bullets flying about the place, the better, too, and the base game can be scary devoid of them, as the Shootout feature did not trigger a ton of multipliers in that phase of play. Instead, the base game was pretty slow going most of the time, a bit like watching water drain from a sink, going round and round the plughole till it's all gone. Filling the balance back up occurred at times, and the Shootout could be useful for this. Hitting a bunch of non-multiplying wilds could be okay in rare moments, too. It just seemed like there was a lot of waiting around for something special to happen, more so than usual.

But hey, every dog has its day, so they say, and Mafia Clash has some sizable multiplying/additive multiplier capabilities coupled with a max win of 10,000x the bet, so things might light up in the right circumstances. It never really did during the test session, though, which felt like watching numbers tick inexorably downwards like a protection racket gone into overdrive. No doubt Mafia Cash can blow the other way into the black, but after being pistol whipped for a while, the desire to see this actually occur gently faded away.
